Company and project logo preparation
Construction plaques often carry several marks: the general contractor, the owner, the architect and sometimes key trade partners. Jobsite Awards checks each file at the size it will appear and prepares a clean version when the only copy came from a drawing title block or a truck door.

What if the only logo you have is from a title block?
Send Jobsite Awards the clearest copy you can get and say which parts must survive, such as the company name or a symbol. We check it at plaque size and tell you whether it can be used, simplified or redrawn. You compare the prepared artwork with the original and approve it before it appears on any piece.
Why do logos on a perpetual board need extra care?
A regional contractor is setting up a Years Injury-Free Perpetual Plaque for its head office. The board title sits beside the company logo, and each period adds a plate for a team. The logo file on hand is a small image from the website header, with a gradient and a thin tagline. On walnut with metal plates, the gradient cannot be engraved and the tagline would be a scratch. We redraw the mark as solid shapes and drop the tagline with the marketing manager's agreement. Because plates will be added later, the approved logo and letter style are kept with the order. The first plate and a later one then match.

Confirm the metric and record with the safety lead before engraving any injury-free claim. Decide whether entries represent calendar years, projects or another period so the board does not mix unlike measures under one heading.
The details to personalize: board title, team, milestone, period. The product page lets you enter them and carry the design into your quote request.
How is a contractor logo made ready for engraving?
01
Ask marketing or the sign shop
The company that lettered your trucks or printed your site hoarding usually holds the original artwork. Request that file before sending a screenshot. It saves a redraw and keeps the proportions right.
02
List every logo and its owner
For a multi-party plaque, name each organization, its role on the project and who can approve use of its mark. An owner's or architect's logo needs their consent, not just yours.
03
Approve the one-tone engraving version
We send each prepared logo at actual size beside the original. Check letter shapes and spacing. Once approved, the same artwork serves the plaque, the crew awards and any equipment tags.
Order terms in brief: Low minimums · production takes no more than 7 days, plus transit · rush available · worldwide shipping · 100% satisfaction refund. Full wording in the FAQ.
Questions about company and project logo preparation
What if the only logo you have is from a title block?
Send Jobsite Awards the clearest copy you can get and say which parts must survive, such as the company name or a symbol. We check it at plaque size and tell you whether it can be used, simplified or redrawn. You compare the prepared artwork with the original and approve it before it appears on any piece.
Can a full-color company logo be used on an award?
Yes, on a printed piece. The Full-Color Safety Recognition Award is printed on acrylic, so brand colors and an approved site photograph can appear beside the text. Engraved wood and metal show a single tone, so the same logo is prepared as a one-color version for those.
Can the owner's and architect's logos go on the dedication plaque?
Only with their agreement. Ask each party for its own file and its rules on size and placement. If one logo arrives late, the layout can leave its position marked while the other lines are reviewed, but nothing is engraved until every party's mark is approved.
Is redrawing a contractor logo charged separately?
A usable file placed as supplied is part of normal layout. Redrawing a mark from a photo or a low-resolution image takes artwork time, and that is quoted as its own line. Jobsite Awards agrees the scope with you first, so a redraw never appears on an invoice unannounced.
